We are relationship-based trainers. Our goal is to help you have a better relationship with your dog while also meeting your training goals. When we help our clients have a better understanding of how dogs think and see the world, the lines of communication open, and we are better able to accomplish our goals. Understanding their needs and effectively being able to communicate back, further strengthens the bond you have with your beloved furry friend. You're in Safe Hands with us.
From childhood, I've always had a way with dogs, which lead me to a life with them. I spent approximately 15 years in rescue, rehabilitating some of the worst cases imaginable. This lead me to a career in working with families, hoping to prevent dogs from ending up abandoned in the first place. As a professional, I have had the opportunity to learn from and work with some of the best industry leaders from across the country and abroad. Seeking to learn, not only how to better train dogs, but to better understand them and their psychology. I regularly participate in continuing education, both as a student and lecturer, to grow my own skills and help others do the same. My early passion for dogs has lead me on a wonderful journey working with them and their owners. I cherish every moment and all of those wonderful dogs and their humans.
Growing up I have always had a drive to work with animals, especially dogs. They have always been a passion of mine no matter where I have found myself in life. I graduated Animal Behavior College and became an ABC certified dog trainer in 2019. I worked with Brad to continue honing my skills, working with dogs of all types, sizes, personalities, and behaviors. I worked with local kennels to help train staff to understand dog psychology and body language to promote a better, safer, environment for the dogs and staff. I love working with people to educate them about dogs to create a better relationship between dog and owner. Our goal is to be an advocate for a healthier communicative relationship between dog and owner, my motto is training equals freedom. Relationships are key and with our help, you will have a better understanding of behavior, so that you can have a happy, healthy, loving relationship with your dog.
I grew up surrounded by dogs and have been passionate about animal welfare from an early age. I always knew my life and career would be full of animals. My first jobs included pet stores, doggie daycares, and pet boarding; these paths led me to become a Veterinary Assistant and pursue dog training. I soon graduated from the Animal Behavior College and began my training career. During my time in these various pet related fields, I have learned the importance of proper socialization, handling, and obedience. With these skills, I strive to help set you up for success in living a calmer, easier, and healthier life with your dog.
